Gerovital Plant – “The Best New Product” in the personal care product category at the 2019 Market Aw

For the third consecutive year, Farmec, the largest Romanian cosmetics manufacturer, obtains one of the most important titles of the Market Awards Gala, the annual competition of the consumer goods industry. The Gerovital Plant range, that was modernized in July 2019, received “The Best New Product” title in the personal care product category.

In the 14th edition of the Market Awards, Farmec was among the 35 awarded companies, being nominated as a winner based on the votes cast by three voting categories – retailers, sales managers and marketing managers. 717 traditional retailers, of which 500 independent retailers, 14 purchasing directors from the Top 20 retailers, 45 sales directors from the Top 100 largest supply companies and 37 marketing or CSR directors expressed their choice.

This distinction carries on the series of awards obtained by Gerovital within the Market Awards Gala: the Gerovital H3 Hyaluron C was chosen the “Best New Product” of 2018, and the brand was awarded the same category in 2017, thanks to the Gerovital Shower Gel range.

The Gerovital Plant range contains up to 98% natural origin ingredients which protects the skin microbiome and offers numerous benefits for normal and combination skin. The line was relaunched in the natural cosmetics segment with 9 products, available in a wide range of formulations and packaging, including creams, ampoules and micellar water.

The innovation brought by the new Gerovital Plant range consists in the Poliplant Microbiome Protect Complex, composed of Equibiome (a standardized extract of young Great burdock root) and a natural complex of plants from the local flora, that reduces skin’s reactivity and inflammatory processes and it targets the protection of the Microbiome. Each range product has distinct skin benefits: hydration, anti-wrinkle, nourishing, protection, revitalization, cleansing, purification, oxygenation and revitalization.

This latest award joins other important titles won this year, among which the “2019 Superbrand” and “The most influential Romanian brand” titles.
