The company’s modern history begins in 1967, when FARMEC became the first manufacturer of Gerovital H3 prof. Dr. Ana Aslan creams and emulsions in Romania. The products were addressed to women in their 40s, when the skin shows the first signs of ageing.

Today Farmec is the leader on the Romanian cosmetics market and the exclusive owner of Gerovital H3 Prof. Dr. Ana Aslan cosmetic trademark.

The originality and quality of FARMEC products was officially recognised in 2002 when the company was granted the International Quality Certificate ISO 9001, a certification recognized until today.

The successful story of Farmec Company begins – it is the first and most important Romanian company of cosmetic products – when Molnar Moser laboratories are created in Budapest.

A small laboratory - Mol-Mos – stands out and carries its activity in Cluj-Napoca.
Ana Aslan introduced Gerovital H3 concept for the first time in Verona, Italy, at the Gerontology International Congress.
Doina Milk is produced for the first time. Is one of the most popular and loved brand on the Romanian market, even today.
Liviu Turdean becomes the Manager and the factory obtains an important achievement – it becomes the first manufacturer of Gerovital H3 prof. Dr. Ana Aslan creams and emulsions in Romania. The new anti-ageing formula was entrusted by the famous researcher Ana Aslan to our company and thus it began the mass production of anti-wrinkle cosmetic creams.
Premiere in Romania – it begins the manufacturing of spray-shaped products.
It begins the development of the most important platform of cosmetic products manufacturing in Romania.
Farmec is privatized through MEBO method, having a 100% Romanian share capital. The first General Manager appointed by the Shareholders Meeting was Ec. Liviu Turdean.
In 2005 starts the modernization of the Gerovital H3 Prof. Dr. A. Aslan line that continues also at the beginning of 2006.
Farmec becomes the unique owner of Gerovital H3 prof. Dr. Ana Aslan trademark in the cosmetics field.
Gerovital H3 prof. Dr. Ana Aslan Evolution is launched, with key active ingredients such as SOD, Trylagen and GP4G.
Gerovital H3 Prof. Dr. A. Aslan Classic and Retinol ranges are launched, with a new anti-age complex: Hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E and Juvinity.
Gerovital H3 Prof.Dr. A. Aslan Derma + range is launched, the first dermatocosmetics line in Farmec’s portfolio.
Gerovital H3 Prof.Dr. A. Aslan Equilibrium range is launched, a range created especially for beauty saloons.
Gerovital Plant is modernised, the new main ingredient is poppy oil extract.
Gerovital H3 Prof. Dr. A. Aslan Derma + Premium Care is launched, an extension of Gerovital H3 prof. dr. A. Aslan Derma + range with premium care products.
Gerovital Luxury line is launched, a luxury range with premium product concept, especially designed for Gerovital brand stores, export stores and premium cosmetics stores.
